In 2022, I made a life-changing move I’d been dreaming about for years—I relocated to Africa. As a serial entrepreneur and founder of six companies in the U.S., it wasn’t a simple leap. I had deep responsibilities: raising my daughter, running businesses, and maintaining a comfortable life I had worked hard to build. But I felt a strong pull toward something new—something rooted in purpose.
That journey led me to Ghana and Rwanda, where I’ve built a life between both countries that’s as inspiring as it is fulfilling. I expanded my company to work with clients in both regions, invested in promising local startups, secured citizenship, purchased land (including a farm in Rwanda), and began building a home, recreating the lifestyle I enjoyed in the States with even greater alignment and intention.
In 2023, I officially stepped into the real estate world. Since then, I’ve helped clients across the diaspora—including the U.S., UK, Canada, and the Caribbean—invest in land and facilitated the sale of apartments, bespoke homes, and commercial properties in both Ghana and Rwanda, including Oasis Beach Resort in Cape Coast. I’ve learned the ins and outs of both markets, built strong relationships on the ground, and earned the trust of investors looking to plant roots on the continent.
Along the way, I’ve also become deeply committed to sustainable building and culturally respectful development. I believe in using locally sourced materials, preserving traditional techniques, and working hand-in-hand with local artisans and communities. For me, investing in Africa isn’t just about land—it’s about honoring the culture, protecting the environment, and creating long-term value that benefits everyone involved.
Having experienced both the logistical and emotional sides of moving and investing, I now use that knowledge to support others on similar journeys.
